Nonferrous metals heat treatment
Salt baths have also been used for the heat treatment of nonferrous metals, such as aluminium, titanium, zirconium, tungsten, molybdenum, silver, gold, brass, copper and nickel-silver alloys.
Due to the excellent homogeneity of temperatures in the salt baths, the aerospacial industry has chosen this process for the heat treatment of solubilization of aluminium alloys.
